Here is my console and computer magazine collection. I have spent many years building this collection. Many of these are mint and have been stored in polypropylene acid-free baggies. Prior to collecting video game magazines, I was really into collecting comic books, and MAD Magazine, so I would treat these magazines with the same level of care... boarding, and bagging, each and every issue. I would sometimes even order two subscriptions, for many of the earlier magazines, so I could bring some to school to read, while keeping the other copy, unopened and in minty condition! Many of these magazines have gone straight from my mailbox into a baggy, and stored for 35+ years. My very first purchased, video game specific magazine, was Electronic Games Issue 13, April 1983. This was purchased from a Babbage's video game store, while visiting relatives in Texas. It was a revelation being able to read about my favorite thing in the world, Video Games. Some of my favorite game magazines include: Nintendo Fun Club News / Nintendo Power, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Die Hard GameFan, GamePro, Video Games & Computer Entertainment, Team Sega Newsletter / Sega Visions, and Next Generation. -Matt
