Nintendo Power Flash was very similar in style to Nintendo Fun Club News (Released in the USA, in 1987)
It had a 9 issue print run and was distributed in Canada by the world's largest toy company, Mattel.
The first 5 issues were composed of 16 pages each, with issues 7 & 8 dropping to a mere 4 pages.
Issue #9 went up a bit to fill out 8 pages, but was still 50% smaller than the premiere issue.

BONUS Download Nintendo Power Flash Issue #2 (Fall 1988) It's a CBR format. You can easily read it with a Comic Book Reader, such as the free Comicat reader. Or simply rename the file extension from .CBR to .RAR, and unRar all all of JPGs within the file format.
