It's not very often that I sell items from my personal collection,
but sometimes an offer is made that I can't refuse.
I do however list current "for sale" items in this section.

In cases like this, I move the item from my collection pages to this section.
When possible, I will list the amount that the item has sold for.

The following items are gone from my collection, but they are not forgotten!

 

Nintendo GAME BOY Camera / Printer Kiosk Display from 1998 (Sold for $265 on 02/15/12)


The back story: This was dropped off by a Nintendo rep to our Babbage's store back in 1998. Shortly after, were told by corporate "do not display" for some unknown reason. So I claimed it and brought it home. The double stick foam tape is unstuck/covered and the roll of thermal paper in the GB printer is still sealed with tape on it. The printer came pre-modified to use a SNES A/C adapter since it was to be left on during store hours it makes more sense. The Game Boy unit + blue GB camera are also new & unused.

INFORMATION:
This book was issued to a Babbage's game store in the mid-to-late 90's. It was personally delivered by Sony rep Gwen Mitsche (her business card is inside).
It was produced by NeoStar who also owned Babbage's and GameStop at the time. Based on the number of stores at the time (less than 400) as well as Sony ordering every store to "destroy & dispose" of these, I don't assume too many still exist.
